    How to create a new intradepartmental agreement (IDA)

    IDA's are agreements between two DHHS OU's. IDA's are discouraged in favor of less formal arrangements, but are allowed when needed. 

  1. DFA Director Approval


    The first step in the IDA process is to request approval from the Division of Finance and Administration director. The OU program specialist should email the DFA director with the request to enter an IDA along with an explanation of why the IDA is necessary.

  2. Agreement Execution


    After the DFA director approves the IDA, the PCM contract analyst will enter the agreement into SharePoint Contracts.  The agreement is sent for signatures to each OU director and to the DFA director.
