Starting on Wednesday, November 7, 2023, the Utah Department of Health and Human Services will publish data on 3 respiratory viruses—COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)—on the coronavirus.utah.gov website. This new dashboard will replace the current COVID-19 only dashboard. Data will be published each Wednesday moving forward.
We are making this change to help provide a more complete picture of respiratory illness in Utah so people can make informed choices about how to best protect themselves during “cold and flu” season. The new dashboard will include data on trends, hospitalizations, deaths, and other measures of illness severity. Some data that was published on the COVID-19 dashboard will no longer be available due to changes in what data is reported to public health agencies after the end of the federal public health emergency. Data that is no longer available includes school outbreaks, comorbidities, and some case counts. Historical data will remain available for download, and additional data can be queried using IBIS-PH.
